Add a new customer

There are a number of ways of adding customers within the app, this guide will concentrate on adding from the main customers tab, however you can add customers when creating a form/certificate/invoice etc too. You can find out more on this here.

1. From the customers tab select the + button in the top right corner.

2. You now have two options, you can either fill out the customer detail fields you see or you can select a customer from your Apple Contacts address book using the "Address Book Lookup" feature.

In this example we will make use of the Address Book Lookup feature.

3. Tap on Address Book Lookup and you will be presented with your Apple contacts list, scroll down the list and tap on the contact you would like to copy over to Master Gas. If your contacts address and email details are filled in these will be copied over to Master Gas for this contact.

4. You can edit any of the information copied over and add some customer notes if you like. Tapping Save then saves that contact for use throughout the app.

Now that you have created your first customer you can create a form/certificate for that customer.

You may notice a Linked Site Addresses option at the bottom. This is for creating multiple site addresses against one customer, ideal if your customer is a Landlord or has more than one property. You can find out more about using Linked Site Addresses and dealing with Landlords here.
