Master Gas has a number of forms you can complete to record work and document on. Each document is structured in the same way, so if you learn how to create one then all the other documents will work the same too.
To start lets create a jobsheet.
1. Within Master Gas tap the Forms tab.
2. Here you will find a list of all the Gas Industry forms available. For this example select the Jobsheet form to record a site visit.
3. To create a new Jobsheet tap the + button in the top right corner.
4. You will now be presented with the main jobsheet screen. A unique jobsheet serial number is at the top. You can enter your own reference in the ref box, select the jobsheet date, arrival/departure time, Hours on site etc.
5. As you scroll down tap on Address Details.
6. Tap on the (+) button next to the Customer / Landlord name field. This allows you to select the customer from your existing customers (you can also create a new customer). You can find out more about creating customers here.
7. Now that you have selected your customer you can also select a Site address if you are carrying work out at a Landlord's property for example. You can find out more about Linked Site Addresses here.
8. With addresses now added tap the Save button.
9. You will now be back on the main jobsheet screen. Tap on the Details button.
10. Fill out the APPLIANCE DETAILS section. You can either free type in the details or use the > button at the side of each field to select from the pre-defined lists. For example tap the > to the right of the Location field, you will then see a list of locations, tap on a selection and this will fill out the location field for you. Repeat this for all the available lookup lists. (appliance type, make).
11. After you have finished entering details tap the Save button.
12. Master Gas allows you to capture a customer's signature. Tap on Customer Signature.
13. Fill out the Report received by and Position fields.
14. Tap on the blank white box under signature, this shows the signature capture screen. Ask your customer to use their finger to sign in the white box, then tap Done.
15. Tap save to return to the main jobsheet screen.
16. Now to finish the document we need to assign the engineer details. Tap on Engineer Sign-off.
17. At the top tap Select Engineer and select your engineer name from the list. This will then pre-populate engineer, company and signature details on to the document. Tap Save. (If you haven't already set up an engineer or company details you can complete these in settings).
You have now created your first form, tap on the View Jobsheet to see the print preview of the screen. From the preview screen you can tap the actions button in the top right corner and email, print or upload to dropbox.
